Meet The Staff
Jeff received his Masters in Physical Therapy from Idaho State in 1993, and an orthopedic certification specialty in 2001, Jeff settled in Spokane with his wife Kimber, where they support a passion for outdoor activities with their two boys, and two Labrador Retrievers. Jeff is an avid road cyclist and mountain biker, telemark and cross-country skier.

Charlie studied and received a B.S. in Zoology at the University of Washington then continued his education at Eastern Washington University, where he earned a doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007. He earned his Orthopedic Certification Specialty in 2017. Charlie was raised in Spokane and returned to the area in 2012 after working as a traveling physical therapist across the country for 5 years. Charlie has particular interest in post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic trauma injuries, sports injuries, and general orthopedics involving the shoulder, hip, and knee. In his free time, Charlie enjoys mountain biking, downhill skiing, trail running, paddle boarding, and a good road trip with his wife Leanne.

Hannah graduated from Creighton University in 2014 with a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy. Before that, she attended Colorado State University where she received her B.S. in Biology. Hannah enjoys assisting patients post surgically, after sport injuries, currently dealing with balance/vestibular issues, and returning to their active interests. She grew up mostly in Colorado and enjoys being out of doors, skiing, running, and hiking with her husband and two golden retrievers.
D.P.T. (Doctorate in Physical Therapy)- Creighton University
Lisa graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2013. Prior to that, she earned a Masters in Biology from Northern Arizona University and a B.A. in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy from Duke University. Lisa specializes in manual therapy techniques to help the body recover after trauma, whether that be from surgery, injury or repetitive stress. She has received multi-year training in Strain-Counterstrain and Fascial Counterstrain. She also is trained in orthopedic manual therapy, functional movement assessment/exercise prescription and aquatic therapy. Outside the clinic, Lisa enjoys hiking, backpacking, paddling and cross-country skiing with her husband and son.

MS (Masters in Biology) - Northern Arizona University
Alex earned her BA in Human Physiology at Gonzaga University, and graduated from Wheeling Jesuit Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2017. Her interests are orthopedics and injury prevention by applying a holistic approach and focusing on optimal postural alignment. Alex is excited to be a part of the Tailwind Physical Therapy team and looks forward to applying a broad spectrum of evidence based treatment techniques with a focus in manual therapy and patient education. Alex is Astym certified.
She is from Lake Tapps, WA and enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Chris and goldendoodle Stanley. Alex loves to downhill ski and enjoys participating in other outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and jogging

Sarah received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1992 and her Physical Therapy degree from the University of New Mexico in 1997. Sarah grew up in Boulder, CO and has spend most her career in Washington state, working in multiple outpatient orthopedic clinics in Seattle and Spokane. She has special interest in manual therapy and has spent many years attending courses from the Jones Institute. Sarah is currently working towards a specialty certification in fascial counterstrain. She believes the gentle counterstrain technique assists in healing by putting patients body in a position or environment to heal.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her daughter, son and husband in multiple outdoor activities.

Candace received her Physical Therapist Assistant A.A.S degree from Spokane Falls Community College in 2010. She works closely with our Physical Therapists to ensure optimal care to each of her patients. When Candace isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. You might find her skiing or snowmobiling the local mountains or running with the Flying Irish club through the streets of Spokane.

Sasha has more than 10 years of experience as a medical massage therapist. She has worked at Tailwind Physical Therapy for over 5 years and is an invaluable part of Tailwind's team. She loves working with patients during their recovery and watching return to their active lifestyles. Sasha is a proud mother of two daughters, they enjoy hiking, biking, and skiing both in the mountains and on lakes.

Sam grew up in Spokane before attending Western Washington University to graduate with a B.S. in Kinesiology. He used his schooling to develop his passion of cycling with coaching and bike fitting. Since moving back from Bellingham, Sam and his wife Mackenzie enjoy a balance of outdoors, travel and family
