Jeff Royter

M.P.T., O.C.S.

Jeff received his Masters in Physical Therapy from Idaho State in 1993, and an orthopedic certification specialty in 2001, Jeff settled in Spokane with his wife Kimber, where they support a passion for outdoor activities with their two boys, and two Labrador Retrievers. Jeff is an avid road cyclist and mountain biker, telemark and cross-country skier.

Rich Pike

P.T.

Rich has been practicing physical therapy for over 25 years.  He studied alternative pain management techniques and developed programs for back injury prevention.  He was a board certified Geriatric Specialist. 

Serena Coleman

M.P.T., B.S. Psychology

Serena studied Psychology at the University of Washington, then continued her education at the University of Utah where she graduated with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy.  During her studies, Serena completed a Brain injury fellowship at NYU and also became a yoga instructor. Serena grew up practicing ballet. Dance injuries are one of her physical therapy specialties. She lives in Spokane with her husband and two children.

Kit Vogel

D.P.T.

Kit graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Southern California in 2002. She received her Masters of Science from Western Washington University in Human Movement and Performance with a specialization in Biomechanics.  She specializes in custom orthotics & biomechanical evaluation/treatment of orthopedic injuries related to running, walking and cycling.  Kit is internationally renowned within the cycling industry, especially her work regarding the foot-pedal interface and the biomechanics of the lower extremities in cycling. 

Kit teaches continuing education with Pedal Jam, LLC (PedalJam.com; formerly part of Bike Fit Systems, LLC (BikeFit.com) for physical therapists and medical professionals throughout the country. She also works as a consultant within the cycling industry. Kit has presented at several international bike fit symposiums including the International Cyclefit Symposium (ICS 2012) in London and the SICI International Cycling Science Symposium in 2007 and 2008. She also guest lectured within the University of Washington Physical Therapy Department for gait and orthopedics.

Kit spends her free time with her husband and 3 children.  They love cycling, climbing and generally getting dirty outside.  Happy Pedals!

Candace Callaway-pringle

P.T.A.

Candace received her Physical Therapist Assistant A.A.S degree from Spokane Falls Community College in 2010.  She works closely with our Physical Therapist to ensure optimal care to each of her patients.  When Candace isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.  You might find her skiing or snowmobiling the local mountains or running with the Flying Irish club through the streets of Spokane.  

Jill Brecht

P.T.A. Certified Personal Trainer

Jill graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors degree and later became a P.T.A. through the USAF in 1997. She is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life. Jill enjoys biking and hiking with her 2 children and golden retriever.

Sasha White

B.S. Developmental Psychology, L.M.T.​

Sasha has more than 10 years of experience as a medical massage therapist. She has worked at Tailwind Physical Therapy for over 5 years and is an invaluable part of Tailwind's team. She loves working with patients during their recovery and watching return to their active lifestyles.  Sasha is a proud mother of two daughters, they enjoy hiking, biking, and skiing both in the mountains and on lakes.  

Nicole Kuhn

Certified Personal Trainer & Health Education Specialist

Nicole is passionate about health, fitness and the general wellbeing of all her clients. Whether you want to get back into shape, or need help finding your optimal health for the very first time, she’ll inject fun and enthusiasm into your routine. She encourages challenging our bodies and enjoys seeing what we are fully capable of.

Nicole shares her healthy lifestyle with her two children and husband. As a family, they enjoy mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and just simply playing outside.

Nicole owns Nicole Kuhn Personal Training LLC, est. in 2009, and is an A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer and Health Education Specialist. She’s thrilled to join Tailwind Physical Therapy to create Tailwind Fitness. Nicole provides quality training and fitness routines for all abilities.

Ami Nadwormick

Ami is the foundation of the Tailwind Team.  Her role as office manager, receptionist, and billing coordinator make her an irreplaceable asset.  Prior to the clinic, Ami worked as an Administrative Assistant and Hospital Coordinator in the Dental industry.  If you don't see Ami behind the desk at Tailwind, you can find her relaxing in her backyard with her husband, daughter, and three dogs. ​

Megan

Megan started working at Tailwind Physical Therapy in January of 2016. She grew up on a cattle ranch in Colfax, WA with two sisters and lots of animals to keep her busy. After getting her undergraduate degree at Whitworth University, she and her husband moved to the Tri Cities for a year before returning to Spokane so she could pursue a master’s degree at WSU in Health Policy and Administration. She is anticipating graduation in December of 2017. Brenden and Megan love to hunt, fish, hike, and shed horn hunt. They spend as much time as they can on their boat, rain or shine.
