Jeff Royter

M.P.T., O.C.S.

Jeff received his Masters in Physical Therapy from Idaho State in 1993, and an orthopedic certification specialty in 2001, Jeff settled in Spokane with his wife Kimber, where they support a passion for outdoor activities with their two boys, and two Labrador Retrievers. Jeff is an avid road cyclist and mountain biker, telemark and cross-country skier.

Charles Howlett

D.P.T. , O.C.S.

Charlie studied and received a B.S. in Zoology at the University of Washington then continued his education at Eastern Washington University, where he earned a doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007.  He earned his Orthopedic Certification Speciality in 2017.  Charlie was raised in Spokane and returned to the area in 2012 after working as a traveling physical therapist across the country for 5 years. Charlie has particular interest in post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic trauma injuries, sports injuries, and general orthopedics involving the shoulder, hip, and knee.  In his free time, Charlie enjoys mountain biking, downhill skiing, trail running, paddle boarding, and a good road trip with his wife Leanne.

Lyndsey Andersen

Lyndsey grew up in Spokane WA, with her parents and younger brother. After graduating from Selkirk high school she moved back to Spokane in 2015, Lyndsey worked at Regal Cinemas as associate manager for a year before joining Tailwind Physical Therapy in January of 2017. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading a good book, gaming, and hanging out with her dog, Lexi.

Carolyn Smith

Carolyn joined our team January 2017 and is often the first face you will see upon arrival at Tailwind.  She and her Saint Bernard, Winston, relocated from the Tri-Cities where Carolyn previously worked for another physical therapy company while attending Columbia Basin College as a student athlete.  On the weekends, Carolyn and Winston often travel to compete in volleyball tournaments around the Pacific Northwest. When Carolyn is not playing volleyball she enjoys boating and paddle boarding with her family. 

Hannah Hunter

D.P.T.

Hannah graduated from Creighton University in 2014 with a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy. Before that, she attended Colorado State University where she received her B.S. in Biology. Hannah enjoys assisting patients post surgically, after sport injuries, currently dealing with balance/vestibular issues, and returning to their active interests. She grew up mostly in Colorado and enjoys being out of doors, skiing, running, and hiking with her husband and two golden retrievers.

Serena Coleman

M.P.T., B.S. Psychology

Serena studied Psychology at the University of Washington, then continued her education at the University of Utah where she graduated with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy.   During her studies, Serena completed a Brain injury fellowship at NYU and also became a yoga instructor. Since Serena has added a PCES certification- Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. 

 Serena grew up practicing ballet. Dance injuries are one of her physical therapy specialties. She lives in Spokane with her husband and two children.

Candace Callaway-pringle

P.T.A.

Candace received her Physical Therapist Assistant A.A.S degree from Spokane Falls Community College in 2010.  She works closely with our Physical Therapist to ensure optimal care to each of her patients.  When Candace isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.  You might find her skiing or snowmobiling the local mountains or running with the Flying Irish club through the streets of Spokane.  

Jill Brecht

P.T.A.

Jill graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors degree and later became a P.T.A. through the USAF in 1997. She is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life. Jill enjoys biking and hiking with her 2 children and golden retriever.

Sasha White

B.S. Developmental Psychology, L.M.T.​

Sasha has more than 10 years of experience as a medical massage therapist. She has worked at Tailwind Physical Therapy for over 5 years and is an invaluable part of Tailwind's team. She loves working with patients during their recovery and watching return to their active lifestyles.  Sasha is a proud mother of two daughters, they enjoy hiking, biking, and skiing both in the mountains and on lakes.  

Nicole Kuhn

Certified Personal Trainer & Health Education Specialist

Nicole is passionate about health, fitness and the general wellbeing of all her clients. Whether you want to get back into shape, or need help finding your optimal health for the very first time, she’ll inject fun and enthusiasm into your routine. She encourages challenging our bodies and enjoys seeing what we are fully capable of.

Nicole shares her healthy lifestyle with her two children and husband. As a family, they enjoy mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and just simply playing outside.

Nicole owns Nicole Kuhn Personal Training LLC, est. in 2009, and is an A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer and Health Education Specialist. She’s thrilled to join Tailwind Physical Therapy to create Tailwind Fitness. Nicole provides quality training and fitness routines for all abilities.

Ami Nadwornick

Ami is the foundation of the Tailwind Team.  Her role as office manager, receptionist, and billing coordinator make her an irreplaceable asset.  Prior to the clinic, Ami worked as an Administrative Assistant and Hospital Coordinator in the Dental industry.  If you don't see Ami behind the desk at Tailwind, you can find her relaxing in her backyard with her husband, daughter, and three dogs. ​

Megan Herzer

Megan started working at Tailwind Physical Therapy in January of 2016. She grew up on a cattle ranch in Colfax, WA with two sisters and lots of animals to keep her busy. After getting her undergraduate degree at Whitworth University, she and her husband moved to the Tri Cities for a year before returning to Spokane so she could pursue a master’s degree at WSU in Health Policy and Administration. She is anticipating graduation in December of 2017. Brenden and Megan love to hunt, fish, hike, and shed horn hunt. They spend as much time as they can on their boat, rain or shine.
